We know the big game is over, but it’s never too early to start planning for next year! Check out our tips to throw the perfect themed football soiree!

Venues

The setting of where you watch the Super Bowl is crucial because it sets the tone and mood of how comfortable you and your guests will be. A classic go-to venue is to have the party at yours or a friends living room or basement that is large enough to hold all your guests. If you live in an apartment complex, try and rent out the community room to have all of your guests enjoy the game there. Another fun venue to have your Super Bowl Sunday party is to rent out a room at a sports bar or your favorite local bar.

Food

Have a potluck with  your friends and family! If you are hosting the party, have the main course and have your guests bring desserts and appetizers. For appetizers, you can never  go wrong with buffalo chicken dip, guacamole, or spinach artichoke. A go-to for the main course is always wings, but switch it up and have a variety of sliders! You could have french onion soup slider with roast beef,  korean fried chicken sliders with slaw on top, and ham and swiss sliders with dijon mustard. For dessert, it will be fun for you and your guests decorate football and goal post cookies with icing and different toppings. Have a s’mores dip, a fruit platter and brownies.

Decorations

Decorate the party half in the chiefs and the other half in Forty-Niners gear if your guests are split between  the two teams. Have paper plates, napkins, cups, and cutlery so the clean up is easy for you and you can get these all in football theme. Create a fun backdrop to take pictures and props too! The Super Bowl is a great time to capture some fun memories and there is no better way to do that  having Mag-nificent! A great photo experience to use that Mag-nificent offers is the the MagApp. It’s easily downloaded and allows real-time social sharing with instant on-site printing. What’s more? The geo-location feature tags your attendees to your event without any codes needed.Included with any Mag-nificent engagement, The MagApp allows event attendees to participate by creating their own event photo memories and sharing them to your permanent online photo and video album all accessible through the app. If that’s not enough all photos can also be shared to guest’s social media sites or event organizer’s social media feeds in real time!

Games

A great way to keep the party going is to play games before the super bowl starts and in between commercials.  If your favorite part of the Super Bowl is the commercials, try your luck with “Big Game Bingo.” Write in the large companies that you think are going to pay big bucks for an ad, and then see if you can get 5 in a row! This game is a great way to get the party guests who aren’t exactly sporty involved. If you’re a sporty group and the weather is nice,  take everyone outside for a little bit of flag or touch football. If anything, you’ll appreciate watching the professionals a little bit more afterwards. Another fun game to play with your guests is to have a football food competition. The game works like this: you break your party into teams, then give each team an identical set of snacks. The one who creates the best Super Bowl-themed snack wins! As always, don’t forget instant photo magnets and/or a photo booth!
