Give Food Truck Friday a Carnival Feel
While most of these events cater to people working downtown, giving them a great opportunity to try something new for lunch as they get ready for the weekend, there’s a whole population going ignored: Kids! With the kids out of school for the summer, stir-crazy families are looking for fun new things to do. Because many food trucks feature family-friendly fare (tacos, donuts, hot dogs, etc), this is a great draw for families!

This will drive excellent cross-traffic for both the food trucks and the rescue groups so people coming down to the event will have an opportunity to rescue a loving dog or cat while animal lovers will come and take part and avail themselves to a wide variety of food and drink options!
Of course, this is only optimal if there is a space set aside where animals can be safely kept and also provide them with spaces far from the eating areas for walks.
